Did I start another Devney Perry series while I am in the middle of two of her other series…yes, yes I did.
As a nurse, Gigi has always provided excellent patient care to all those who come through her hospital’s doors. When one of her patients gifts her with a farmhouse in Montana for her and her little girl, Rowen, to live in, Gigi decides this is the perfect way to start fresh in a town that she has heard so much about. What she did not expect was to interact with the world’s most closed-off sheriff she has ever met. Jess’s sole focus is to figure out why Gigi is in his town, that is, until he makes a complete fool of himself in front of her. Now, all he can think of is how he can prove he is not the man she sees him as.
I love a good romantic suspense book, and The Coppersmith Farmhouse kept me on my toes. Gigi is very strong-willed, and I love that she is not afraid to speak her mind! Jess is interesting; there were some times throughout the book when I wanted to knock some sense into his thick skull.
Spice Level: 2.5
I am very excited to continue this series and cannot wait to start book two. I give this book 4.5 stars.
