Dear Catherine Cowles, if you ever stop writing small-town romantic suspense stories I will cry!
Beautifully Broken Control is the fourth book in Catherine Cowles Sutter Lake series and it did not disappoint! The story follows Kennedy Charles as tries to find her new normal after discovering her father committing a crime that caused folks to lose their livelihoods. As she is settling into her new life in Sutter Lake she meets Cain who arrives at Sutter Lake trying to find balance in his crazy work life. But as they spend time together, Cain slowly starts to lose control over the guards of his past trauma to open his heart to Kennedy.
Every time I read one of Catherine's books I think I know who the true villain of the story is, just for her to throw a curve ball in my face! I was close to figuring out who the villain was but I gasped out loud after finding out who the villain was. I am sad that my journey in Sutter Lake is coming to an end but I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all of the characters who live in the lovely town.

If you have not jumped into the town of Sutter Lake, you are indeed missing out! I give this book 5 stars!
