Beautifully Broken Spirit by Catherine Cowles Review

Beautifully Broken Spirit is the third book in the Sutter Lake Series and follows the journey of Jensen and Tuck. Life-long friends who never realized their feelings until faith have them both working on a case to see who is trying to make the wild mustang herd extinct from Sutter Lake. Jensen and Tuck both had struggles in their lives but the one thing that remains constant is their strong friendship with each other.

I listened to the audiobook through Audible and let me just say Maxine Mitchell did her thing! She knows how to portray the emotions that Jensen has on the page! Jensen was my favorite character in the first three books and I am glad Catherine was able to create a happily ever after for Jensen and Tuck!

This book does have some content warnings that I would like to share which include but are not limited to violence/death (for both humans and animals) and addiction (secondary characters).

Beautifully Broken Spirit was spicier than Beautifully Broken Life. I would give it 2.5 out of five.

I can not wait to continue this series and I am excited to read the other books in Catherine's catalog!
