King of Pride by Ana Huang Review

If I had to rank the couples in the Ana Huang universe...Kai and Isabella are my second favorites (Bridget and Rhys are still number 1!). This book had me kicking and screaming the whole time!

King of Pride follows the story of Kai Young and Isabella Valencia and their romantic love story. Kai is the future CEO of his family's media empire, and Isabella...well...she has her secrets. But one thing is for sure: they are both very proud people. Ana is a great storyteller and does an amazing job building the relationship between Isabella and Kai.

I feel like I am a little biased, but I love the name Kai no matter the gender of the character, and Kai is one of Ana's more likable male characters. While he is prideful, he also knows what he wants. Isabella was a breath of fresh air, and her comedic timing in the story was on point! There was a part of the book where I wanted to jump into the pages and beat up her brother, which makes me love an FMC when I want to fight her battles.

I did listen to the audio version of this book, and it is a duet! I love a duet, and if you are an audiobook reader, you will enjoy this as well!

Like most of Ana Huang's books, this is SPICY! I definitely would give it a 4 out of 5 on the spice level. Especially with duets, and you actually can hear both the male and female perspectives at the same time...HOT!

I am very excited to continue this series and cannot wait for King of Greed!
