The Bride Test by Helen Hoang

The fact that Helen Hoang has only written three books should be a crime! I finished The Bride Test last week and while I enjoyed the book some things did bother me.

The Bride Test follows the story of Khai Diep and Esme Tran and their journey to find love in Palo Alto, CA. Esme came to the USA on behalf of Khai's mother to make him see that she was the perfect woman for him to marry. Khai, on the other hand, does not believe he is marriage material due to his autism diagnosis. With language/cultural barriers and overcoming the challenges, Khai faces with his autism.

I did like the relationship between Khai and Esme, but she did not do her research into what autism is and got mad at Khai over small things that were not his fault!

While this book is a romance, it is not as spicy as most romances that I normally read. So, I will give it a 1.5 out of 5.

I am sad that I am almost done reading Helen Hoang's books and Helen if you are reading this...PLEASE GIVE US MORE BOOKS!
