The Holly Dates by Brittainy C. Cherry Review

For my second Christmas story of the season, this one did not disappoint! Also, shout out to my best friend who recommended that I read Brittainy C. Cherry in general this book had me kicking and giggling the entire time!

The Holly Dates is a Christmas love story between Holly Jackson and Kai Kane two neighbors who had a a meet ugly in the lobby of their apartment complex. Holly is recovering from the worst heartbreak anyone could go through...being left at the altar. To bounce back, Kai becomes her dating coach and eventually fake boyfriend to help her get through the holiday season.

Holly and Kai's relationship is what dreams are made of! They are able to work through the trauma Holly had to go through by seeing her fiancé leave her on their wedding day while also Kai deals with the trauma of his parent's drug and child neglect along with the issues his former partner gave him. Their communication is on point and the way Kai told her "Be with a man who looks at you like you are everything." I am taking that to the grave!

steamy! I would give it a 3.5 on the spice level. I cannot wait to read more of Brittainy's books! But Brittainy...if you are reading this...please make a book following Alec and Kai's business partner!
