I love a good paranormal story and Wolf Gone Wild by Juliette Cross did not disappoint!
Wolf Gone Wild follows the story of Mateo Cruz, a werewolf who finds himself under a hex that prevents him from shifting each full moon. To break this hex, he must seek help from Evie Savoie, a hex breaker who covens one rule: staying away from werewolves. Evie and Mateo team up together to find who placed this curse on him and to break it before Mateo loses himself to his wolf.
I loved that we got to see Evie and Mateo’s relationship grow throughout the book, and Alpha (Mateo’s wolf) was hilarious! I also enjoyed the fact that we got to meet all of Evie’s sisters in this book and potentially meet some of their future love interests! I also enjoyed the fact that this book is based in New Orleans, one of the most famous cities for magic and paranormal activity. Also, here is a fun fact: my family has ties to New Orleans, so that just made it even better!
Spice Level: Three
I am so excited to see how this series takes off, and I cannot wait to read the next book! I give it 5 stars!
